1. No correspondence between the place and the weather

We do not have to choose the weather, and many people make one very important mistake when arriving at the site – they do not know how to properly adjust to weather conditions and terrain. In the case of duck hunting in autumn, the best weather is cloudy windy weather, with the wind blowing the wave and the duck rushes through the pond from place to place. It is this weather that is considered especially favorable for hunting with decoys.

But if the water is calm, calm, and the weather is warm, the duck is taboo in one place, open, so that there is a good view and does not fly. Before and during the season, take the time to check all the decoys for shine. If you find such a decoy during a hunt, be sure to remove it from the group, and to prevent this from happening, use specialized carrying bags and check the decoy for dirt or dust, they easily leave scratches.

If you find a gloss, paint them with a matte paint, or even better with a flock – a material comparable to the skin, it does not dye in the frost and freely breathes in the heat. Most importantly, do not leave a decoys for the night on the water. Morning fog or dew, they will cover them with a water film and all the hunt you hoped for will go wrong.
