The limit on the extraction of hunting resources was established in Kolyma
Limits and quotas are agreed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
The Department of State Hunting Supervision of the Magadan Region reports that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation has agreed on limits and quotas for hunting resources in the Magadan Region.
- moose – 874 units, including: over one year old – 750 units, up to one year old – 124 units;
- wild reindeer – 3609 units;
- sable – 8600 units;
- bighorn sheep – 346 units;
the limit and quotas of prey for a bear in the territory of the Magadan Region are set in the amount of 2 thousand 137.
The establishment of limits for the extraction of hunting resources and quotas for their extraction for the period from August 1, 2019 to August 1, 2020 in the territory of the Magadan Region is based on accounting data on the number of hunting resources provided by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in hunting management and data on numbers in public hunting grounds, as well as on the basis of applications submitted by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
The decree of the governor of the Magadan region dated July 26, 2019 No. 161-u “On the approval of limits for the extraction of hunting resources and quotas for their extraction for the period from August 1, 2019 to August 1, 2020 in the territory of the Magadan region” is a regulatory legal act in accordance with which permits for the extraction of hunting resources in the territory of the Magadan Region are issued.
