Terms of hunting in the territory of Magadan region

1. Swamp-meadow game – summer-autumn period by all permitted methods and tools of hunting – from 01 to 15 October.

2. Upland game:
– in the spring period only male wood grouses:
– from May 3 to May 12 (in the municipal entity “city of Magadan” and Olsky city district);
– from May 12 to May 21 (in Khasyn, Susuman, Omsukchan, Tenkin, Srednekansky, Yagodninsky urban districts);
– from May 7 to May 16 in the North-Eveni city district.
– summer-autumn period:
– from 01 September to 28 (29) February;
– from September 1 to December 31 – with hunting birds, with island and continental chasing dogs, retrievers, spaniels.

3. Waterfowl:
– spring period for geese, drake ducks:
– from May 3 to May 12 (in the municipal entity “city of Magadan” and Olsky city district);
– from May 12 to May 21 (in Khasyn, Susuman, Omsukchan, Tenkin, Srednekansky, Yagodninsky urban districts);
– from May 7 to May 16 in the North-Eveni city district.
– summer-autumn period:
– from September 1 to October 15.

4. Brown bear:
– from April 25 to May 31;
– from August 1 to November 30.

5. Snow ram:
– all age and gender groups – from 01 August to 30 November.

6. Moose:
– all age and gender groups – from 01 October to 29 December;
– adult males – from September 1 to September 30;
– at the age of up to 1 year – from January 1 to January 15.

7. Wild reindeer:
– all age groups – from 01 September to 28 February.
